Terri timely5/5/2023 Every time there was something that seemed a little grueling, or there was a question about Annie feeling uncomfortable, she wanted to push it more. IK: It was a pleasant surprise because what Annie had to go through was really bizarre and fucked up and funny. The comedy element ended up being more prominent than we expected. She was definitely tuned in to the fact that there was a sense of humor to it. This video is like a crazy and dark version of that Kurt Russell/Goldie Hawn movie Overboard, where Goldie Hawn falls overboard and gets amnesia, and Kurt Russell takes her and says, "You're my wife!"Ĭorey Creasey: Actually, Annie brought that movie up when we pitched this idea to her. Over the last two videos, there's been a lot of laughter on the set. Ian Kibbey: It's a really hard thing to do because it can seem pretentious or really cheesy. Terry's then wife Peggy Haig (sister of English comic actor Jack Haig) made frequent appearances as did their daughter Coral Kelly - later to become prolific television writer Coral Drouyn. All on-set photos courtesy of Terri Timely Amongst other highlights, the show was responsible for launching the careers of Pat Carroll and Olivia Newton-John, whose farewell to Australian television before leaving for England was broadcast on the show. O'Neill had run a similar successful show in England called The One O'Clock Show. The show was so successful for HSV7 that it launched a season of Night-time for Terry in 1966. The show was a forerunner to such shows as The Midday Show and Hey Hey It's Saturday, combining variety and music with game show elements. It was a variety show that was hosted by English comedian and entertainer as well as jazz musician Terry O'Neill. Time for Terry was an Australian TV series which ran in from 1964–1966.
